Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst provides data and analysis to senior management by detailing business performance and analyzing future projections for the business. The Senior Financial Analyst is involved in annual budget preparation, ongoing performance updates, and development of relevant KPI/metrics. Additionally, this position works with Finance executives and other operating team leaders to set company-wide investment direction, policies, and delivering data driven information.

Location: Northeast, Ohio

Remote position with occasional onsite meetings

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collects operational data and develops complex financial models to assist decision makers on how to grow, improve profits, and understand results
  • Work collaboratively with groups across various geographies and provide value-added analysis to business leaders.
  • Develop, validate, challenge and explain key financial trends, indicators and performance
  • Understands both financial and business drivers for variances against plan, forecast and prior period.
  • Generates monthly reporting package for executive leadership and Board of Directors
  • Effectively articulates processes, techniques and models verbally and in written format.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Increases productivity through process improvement (data gathering, models, schedules)
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field. MBA a plus.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in finance. 
  • Health care industry experience preferred.
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills including Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds. 
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job

Salary Range:

$68,315.00 – $126,383.00

Salary may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
