The Senior Payroll Analyst’s primary responsibilities are processing domestic and select international payrolls and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal payroll tax regulations
Key Job Elements
•Responsible for processing domestic payroll in Workday on a timely and accurate basis
•Responsible for processing select international payroll with third-party payroll providers on a timely and accurate basis
•Process payroll for expats when applicable
•Analyze payrolls to ensure proper handling of earnings and deductions
•Coordinate the handling of garnishments, support orders, levies, etc.
•Update and maintain payroll and other financial records including preparing account reconciliations and processing journal entries
•Post stock activity to payroll records
•Ensure compliance with local, state and federal payroll tax regulations
•Register with new tax agencies
•Manage responsibilities with the third-party payroll tax service provider and applicable tax files •Ensure timely and accurate quarter-end and year-end close
•Review and correct all W-2 errors on a frequent basis
•Review and implement legislative and regulatory requirements as well as corporate policy revisions for payroll
•Assist with various audits
•Work with a team and communicate effectively with employees, cross-functional groups and third parties
•Resolve payroll system issues and testing of new and/or revised processes
•Generate reports from Workday
•Assist employees with payroll related issues
•Provide direction and training to payroll team members
•Provide oversight and manage daily requests in the absence of payroll team members including the Payroll Manager (excluding approvals and personnel issues)
•Assist with special projects
•Identify and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications/Education/Skills
 •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•Certified Payroll Processional (CPP) preferred
•Knowledge of domestic and international payroll
•Knowledge in payroll taxes
Preferred Qualifications/Education/Skills
•Minimum 7 years experience with domestic and international payroll processing and related payroll taxes
•Experience with payroll tax service provider supporting large customers •Knowledge in stock activity
•Experience with Excel and Word •Proficient in Workday Payroll Admin role. Support semi-annual maintenance testing, EIBs, integrations and cross-functional project support
•Capability of organization, prioritization and attention to detail •Effective oral and written communication skills
•Ability to work with a team
•Data analysis, conflict resolution and decision making
Travel
             •Less than 3% travel required
