Position Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator supports the recruitment and onboarding process by ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and new hires. SJI has an amazing opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization and culture with a fantastic team of people focused on delivering outstanding customer service. You will be an invaluable part of our TA organization, bringing our passion and focus on organizational growth to life. You will perform a wide variety of TA functions including interview scheduling, high touch business and candidate communications, reporting, data and trend analysis, employment verifications and compliance. Most importantly, you’ll make a tremendous impact on the evolution of our business.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews across various departments, ensuring timely communication and a professional candidate experience.
- Assist with candidate communications and logistics related to interviews and recruitment events.
- Track and manage pre-hire contingencies such as background checks, references, and required documentation to ensure timely completion prior to start date.
- Coordinate new employee orientation (NEO) activities including scheduling, logistics, and preparation of onboarding materials.
- Participate in the administration of NEO sessions, providing a welcoming and informative experience for new hires.
- Ensure completion and compliance of post-hire documentation, such as I-9s.
- Provide support for career fairs, hiring events, and other talent attraction initiatives as needed.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives that support broader talent attraction initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Sense of urgency and ability to manage high volumes with a focus on outstanding levels of service
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and effectively establish priorities
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Workday and onboarding tools
Qualifications
Required Background:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Typically requires 2- 4 years of related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Compensation Range:
$23 – 37
We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for all employees. The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience.
