As the Talent Management Specialist at CAE, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote employee development and experience at every stage of the employee's journey within the company. You will work on the design, evolution, and implementation of our talent management practices and programs in areas such as; performance, employee growth, talent development and engagement

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work with HR business partners to understand and analyze the needs and issues related to improving performance, employee skills, engagement and recognition systems and processes.

  • Build need analyses, plan, develop, and implement the deployment plan for the various Talent Management projects programs and training. 

  • Provide, as a participative member of a team of experts, your perspective on change management, HR process improvement such as talent development management, engagement, organizational culture. 

  • Occasionally intervene in the field to promote learning in action, provide support in the facilitation of communities of practice, as well as townhall/training sessions related to your area of expertise to managers or HRBPs. 

  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement in performance, engagement and recognition practices.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Resources, Organizational Development or Change Management or equivalent combination of related training and experience

  • Ideally 3-5 years of job-related experience

  • Communication skills in both English and French languages (written and spoken).

  • Knowledge of practices and concepts around Talent Management related to employee performance and leadership, development, training and engagement

  • Experience in talent development & training, and leadership development is a plus. 

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and make innovative, best in class recommendations to enhance our programs and practices based on data and market trends

  • Team spirit, flexibility, good attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Good organizational, time management and planning skills

  • Take initiative, autonomous and willing to learn

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other tools of the MS Office suite

  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
