Sr Analyst, Payroll LATAM
The Sr Analyst, Payroll LATAM's primary responsibility is to process payrolls across the Latin American region (Costa Rica, Chile, and Ecuador​) promptly and accurately in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process payrolls across the Latin American region.
- Maintain salaries, pension, taxes, and social security accuracy in Workday and Payroll vendor systems by reconciling the data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Administer the year-end tax filings and disburse employee forms for all applicable countries.
- File and label all confidential correspondence in ‘Box’ per Data Security legal requirements and company policies, whilst maintaining WFS Documentation retention policies.
- Administer expatriate-related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.
- Maintain the LATAM shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24-hour response time, supporting employees with pay-related queries.
- Support all relevant Finance/Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries.
- Maintain close communication with the workers' unions.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate staff in accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning and analysis, and People/HR.
- Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software systems and procedures.
- Ability to train and assist junior staff.
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and Management
- Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification
- 4 years of experience in Payroll is essential
- Knowledge of Safeguard, ADP Streamline, ADP Expert, and WORKDAY systems
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
Preferred Requirements:
- International experience is preferable
- Advanced knowledge of the Portuguese language
