About the Role:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a vital business partner for our West/Southwest Division, collaborating with division leadership to support business objectives and execute effective people strategies. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources for the West/Southwest division, you will have a significant impact on the full lifecycle delivery of our talent strategy, ensuring a thriving workplace for all employees.
Location: Austin, TX 78754
Days: Monday – Friday
In this position, you will need to be in the office to promote teamwork, but we also offer a hybrid work model to ensure a good balance between remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the HR and administrative teams at Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) in Austin, ensuring alignment with both employee and company success through performance management and development initiatives.

Facilitate internal discussions on organizational design, workforce planning, and skills assessment to meet current and future business needs.

Work collaboratively with management and HR leaders to develop and implement strategic people plans.

Support existing processes related to performance management, talent management, career development, and total rewards.

Create and execute best-in-class talent strategies, ensuring timely filling of technical and medical roles through effective staffing and resource planning.

Partner with the HR leadership team to design learning and development programs tailored for all levels of leadership and individual contributors.

Utilize analytics tools to drive performance and transform business practices, aligning talent data with division needs.

Conduct investigations and promote initiatives that foster a culture of engagement, empowerment, and excellence among employees.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to implement diverse selection strategies for key leadership roles.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but candidates with degrees in other areas will also be considered

5 to 7 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record in delivering Talent Management strategies aligned with business priorities, focusing on high-potential leadership talent sourcing, development, and retention.

Experience in designing and managing talent management programs such as onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management.

Familiarity with Leadership Development and Culture Change programs in complex organizations.

Exceptional team facilitation skills and experience leveraging technology to create efficient, self-service processes.

Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex problems under pressure.

Experience with Workday HRIS is preferred.
