Job Description:

Are you a strategic recruiting leader who thrives on building exceptional teams while delivering results? Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a Recruiting Experience Leader to drive our recruiting strategy across our global enterprise. This dynamic player-coach role combines strategic leadership with hands-on recruiting excellence.

Join our Recruiting Leadership Team as one of three key leaders reporting to the Director of Global Recruiting. You'll lead a high-performing team of recruiters while personally managing full-cycle recruitment for critical roles across the US. This is your chance to help further transform how we attract, engage, and retain top talent.

This position will work a hybrid schedule, onsite at our St. Louis Corporate headquarters location three days a week. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a highly motivated team of Recruiters through development, performance management, and training
  • Establish team standards and drive recruiting strategy focused on optimizing business results
  • Coach hiring leaders and Recruiters on best practices while fostering continuous improvement
  • Leverage recruitment data to inform strategic decisions and advise key stakeholders

Hands-On Recruiting

  • Execute full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing through offer management
  • Source and attract talent across diverse functions including Corporate, Engineering, Manufacturing, Leadership, and Operations roles  
  • Develop innovative approaches to "harder-to-fill" roles using creative strategies
  • Ensure fast, efficient, and professional recruitment processes that create exceptional candidate experiences

Process Innovation & Improvement

  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and consistency across the Barry-Wehmiller recruiting experience
  • Lead initiatives to ensure best-in-class candidate experience at every touchpoint
  • Develop and implement recruiting methodology, tools, and procedures
  • Analyze and leverage KPIs to continuously improve strategies and identify growth opportunities

Business Partnership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted recruiting advisor
  • Collaborate across the organization to understand short and long-term talent objectives
  • Advise on market trends, recruitment strategies, and sourcing approaches
  • Build trusted relationships with internal customers and business partners

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 4+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or HR experience with proven track record
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience
  • Experience developing strong relationships across all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to match exceptional talent to career opportunities and culture
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business strategies into actionable talent plans
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Comfort navigating complexity and ambiguity while working independently
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
