About the Role
As the Head of Global Rewards, you will lead a global Centre of Excellence (CoE) responsible for designing and delivering ResMed’s total rewards strategy. This includes compensation, benefits, recognition and mobility programs that are equitable, scalable, and aligned with our business and talent strategies. You will play a critical role in shaping how we attract, retain, and engage talent across 40+ countries, while driving operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy

Design, execute, and continuously evolve a comprehensive total rewards strategy that supports the company’s overall business goals, culture, and values.

Lead all aspects of global compensation (base, variable, and equity), benefits, and international mobility.

Provide strategic guidance to the executive leadership team on compensation structures, market competitiveness, and program effectiveness.
Compensation
-
Design and maintain global compensation structures including base pay, salary bands, and geographic differentials.

Conduct regular market benchmarking and pay equity analyses to ensure competitiveness and fairness.

Lead annual compensation review cycles and support workforce planning with compensation insights.
Strategic Compensation Partnering

Lead a team of Compensation Partners that provide advice to People Business Partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters.

Enable regional and functional Compensation Partners with tools, frameworks, and guidance to support local execution.

Build capability across the People team to interpret and apply compensation principles effectively.
Executive & Equity Compensation

Lead the design and governance of executive compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentives.

Oversee the development of performance-based LTIP frameworks aligned with company objectives and shareholder value creation.

Partner with the Board, ELT, and Legal on equity strategy, grant cycles, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure strong governance, regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, proxy disclosure), and transparent communication for all executive pay matters.

Oversee global equity administration and communication strategies to drive understanding and engagement.
Compensation Operations

Oversee compensation systems, data integrity, and process automation (e.g., Workday, benchmarking platforms).

Ensure operational excellence in compensation delivery, including audits, reporting, and compliance.

Drive continuous improvement in compensation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Benefits

Develop and manage global benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and insurance offerings.

Lead benefits harmonization and vendor optimization across regions.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and alignment with employee needs and company values.

Partner with internal communications to drive awareness and engagement with benefits offerings.
Recognition

Develop and implement recognition programs that celebrate employee achievements and milestones.

Partner with leadership to create a culture of recognition and appreciation across the organization.
Global Mobility

Oversee global mobility programs including expatriate assignments, relocation, immigration, and tax compliance.

Collaborate with external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience and policy compliance.
Leadership & Transformation

Lead and develop a high-performing global team across multiple time zones and functions.

Drive transformation initiatives such as centralization of benefits administration, automation of HR processes, and geolocation strategies for CoE roles.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CPO and ELT on workforce cost optimization and reinvestment into talent development.
Qualifications & Experience
-
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with deep expertise in Compensation, Benefits and Mobility.

Proven success in leading global teams and scaling programs in complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong understanding of compensation and benefits regulations across key markets (e.g., US, EMEA, APAC).

Experience with Workday and advanced analytics platforms preferred.

Experience in M&A with the proven ability to effectively navigate compensation-related challenges during integrations.

Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $249,000 – $375,000
