THE JOB

US Concerts is seeking is seeking an enthusiastic and highly-motivated Experience & Recruiting Manager for GLC Live at 20 Monroe. This Manager will have a dual role, essentially focusing on hiring and recruiting new employees while also supporting existing employees.

The Experience Manager duties require administering various corporate and venue designed programs to support employee engagement, venue staffing and guest service division-wide goals. The position also handles local HR needs for employees, with support from Live Nation’s regional HR teams.

The Recruiting Manager duties primarily consists of executing and overseeing the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of quality candidates to work in part time or seasonal roles within our venues. This Manager ensures a smooth transition from application to employment.

This is a part-time and year-round position with variable working hours, generally (but not limited to) Monday-Friday.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

            Experience Manager role:

  • Work closely with the General Manger, Operations Manager, Production Manager and Box Office Manager.
  • Plan and coordinate processes and activities associated with employee engagement.
  • Work with Department Managers to ensure service standards are being communicated pre-event and demonstrated during and post the event.
  • Be the face of the venue’s service culture program.
  • Administer employee recognition program.
  • Research best practices and collaborate with the General Manager to develop venue opportunities to increase employee engagement, increase guest satisfaction.
  • Manage uniform inventory.
  • Review customer satisfaction survey weekly and communicate results to General Manager.
  • Organize and plan company holiday party and summer activity.
  • Other tasks as required by the General Manager.

Recruiting Manager role:

  • Work with Managers to identify hiring needs and post job descriptions.
  • Create a recruitment strategy and develop recruitment funnels.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through online sourcing, job fair events and establishing relationships with key partners.
  • Work with venue marketer to create campaign to market job opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to participate in area/venue job fairs with a focus on obtaining future candidates.
  • Manage 3rd party recruiting tools.
  • Screen, interview and determine candidate fit for available roles.
  • Prepare the candidate & maintain ongoing communication for onboarding requirements while promoting positive candidate experience.
  • Actively onboard new employees by conducting initial venue training before passing along to Department Managers for department-specific training.
  • Track any company referral bonus or other available perks in recruitment strategy and marketing efforts.
  • Other tasks as required by the General Manager.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Experience with WorkDay or other HRIS.
  • Proficient computer skills required including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Public speaking or meeting facilitation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • Levelheaded attitude with attention to detail.
  • Ability/experience to successfully identify and qualify candidates.
  • Understanding of general Human Resources and recruiting practices.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening.
  • Must be able to maintain composure and organization in an often hectic and loud environment.
  • Possess a positive outlook, strong communication skills and the ability to engage others.
  • 1 years' plus of administrative experience
  • 1-2 years’ plus of leadership experience
  • Has a natural interest in helping others and a heart for service
  • Position requires constant physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying equipment
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Human Resources, or something comparable preferred.
