Position Summary

At SRS Distribution, we are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Human Resources to lead large-scale HR transformation initiatives with a focus on M&A integration including partnering with COEs for enterprise-wide policy and program harmonization, and the transition to a unified Workday HRIS platform. This individual will act as a strategic integrator across acquired entities, redesigning HR operating models, working with HR technology to enhance the associate experience through AI-enabled solutions, and building a scalable, repeatable playbook for future transformation.

This role demands a bold, future-focused HR executive capable of influencing at the C-suite level, while translating complex change into executable roadmaps that deliver measurable value and cultural alignment.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Integration Leadership

  • Serve as the executive HR lead for all M&A integration efforts—pre- and post-close—including assisting CHRO/ COEs as needed with due diligence, assessing cultural/ leadership alignment, and end-to-end HR operational integration.
  • Harmonize total rewards programs (benefits, compensation structures, policies) across acquired and legacy entities, where it makes sense.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure all HR programs are compliant, competitive, and culturally aligned.

HRIS & Workday Transformation

  • Oversee master integration project plan including the enterprise-wide implementation of Workday, migrating from legacy systems to a single-source digital HR platform in partnership with HRIS COE.
  • Partner to define data governance, system adoption, and automation roadmaps to create a frictionless HR technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with IT Innovation Team and external vendors to enable AI-driven process automation and hyper-personalized associate support via HR digital agents.

Strategic Organizational Design & Capability Mapping

  • Help drive culture mapping and leadership capability assessments to identify integration risks, leadership gaps, and areas of alignment.
  • Design and implement new organizational structures, reporting models, and spans/layers that support scale and agility.
  • Align talent architecture and capabilities with future-state business needs and strategic goals.

HR Operating Model & Change Enablement

  • Architect a repeatable HR initiative deployment model, built with integrated change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication frameworks.
  • Develop enterprise toolkits and playbooks for HR integration, transformation initiatives, and new program rollouts.

Reimagined Associate Experience

  • With HR Leadership, redesign the associate journey using a "human + digital" service model, elevating what people do best while moving transactional HR to AI agents.
  • Deliver hyper-personalized, predictive HR experiences across the associate lifecycle (onboarding, career progression, wellbeing) through intelligent design.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve the digital HR ecosystem based on associate feedback, utilization data, and business outcomes.

HR M&A Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external HR vendors and consultants involved in M&A integration activities, as needed.
  • Ensure vendors deliver high-quality services that align with SRS Distribution's standards and strategic goals.
  • Help negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement best practices for HR integration and transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity leading HR transformation or post-M&A integration.
  • Proven success integrating acquired companies (≥1,000 employees), harmonizing HR programs, and leading culture/workforce transitions.
  • Hands-on leadership in Workday implementation or enterprise HRIS modernization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in org design, leadership capability assessments, and workforce planning.
  • Experience developing enterprise HR deployment models and communication/change management frameworks.
  • Passion for digital HR innovation, AI augmentation, and reimagining the associate experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR consulting firm experience with a focus on HR Transformation.
  • Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity organization undergoing transformation.
  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
