USAC Payroll Analyst (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a USAC Payroll Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Performing full spectrum of payroll process to ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery for USAC Countries
  • Ensuring accurate and timely statutory filing according to Countries’ legislation
  • Keeping up to date on changes in statutory requirements and ensure that payroll is complied with the changes
  • Continuous effort in process streamlining to improve payroll efficiency
  • Delivering Payroll Services according to country regulations and labor law for USAC countries
  • Supports employees and supervisors’ questions surrounding compensation, payroll process, etc.
  • Documents requirements for change requests and works closely with Hire-to-Retire Technology through implementation to production. Works closely with leadership to determine priorities and establish timetables to ensure success.
  • Driving new Workday functionality changes to reduce time and effort in completing payroll
  • Collaborating closely with HR teams for other payroll relevant tasks
  • Staying abreast of laws and regulations and enforcing the processes aligned with these regulations related to payroll and ensuring alignment with Global payroll strategy expectations
  • Analyzing and resolving inquiries from employees as they relate to payroll
  • Managing reporting tasks for internal and external government systems
  • Identifying opportunities, making process improvement recommendations, and implementing changes
  • Providing time and absence support and resolution

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


  • High School diploma/ GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and eight (8) years of payroll, human resource, and/or finance experience
  • Four (4) years of combined experience payroll, human resource, and/or finance in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of Payroll experience in a multinational company
  • Strong proficiency with local payroll legislation
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Experience in Workday and SAP payroll systems is a plus
  • Regional experience with payroll project or HR process is a plus
  • Payroll vendor management experience is a plus
  • A team player with strong ability to work in a remote environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
