The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled HR Administrator to join our HR Security, Compliance, and Privacy team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing user access within our Employment Management system of record, Workday, ensuring data security and integrity. This is an excellent opportunity to gain visibility among HR leadership within Abbott and to leverage this development experience into a successive development plan. This person will also play a key role in supporting internal and external audit requests by providing relevant data and reports.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage user access within Workday, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role assignment.
  • Maintain user access security by adhering to company Policies and best practices.
  • Conduct regular access reviews to ensure continued user needs and security compliance.
  • Troubleshoot user access issues and provide technical support to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal and external audit teams to understand and fulfill audit requests related to employee data.
  • Generate reports and extract data from the HR management system of record to support audit investigations.
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday access control functionalities and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of user access procedures and audit processes.
  • Deliver cybersecurity training to ensure HR personnel understand cyber risks and their obligations to contain them.
  • Monitor and report cybersecurity metrics/dashboard to support business leaders.
  • Data managed may include employee personal and compensation-related information including employee demographics, skills inventory, absences, overtime, or employee turnover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or IT (preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with HR information systems.
  • Proven experience with Workday.
  • Good understanding of data security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The base pay for this position is

$57,300.00 – $114,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
