Job Description

INTRODUCTION:

The ideal candidate for this position has a well-rounded finance and accounting background and possesses strong analytical and communication skills.  This position will provide support for reporting, planning, strategic analytics, and Sales support. The candidate should be a self-starter, team-oriented, inquisitive, and focused on driving results.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Operate as the lead in Finance for all aspects of the business's revenue generating activities, developing a deep understanding of recurring revenue dynamics across product lines, customer segmentation, and growth optimization opportunities

    • Perform detailed financial analysis on commercial activities including product launches, marketing activities, pricing, competitive activities, and onboarding realization

    • Serve as lead business partner to the Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to develop standard financial and operational metrics.

    • Oversee and manage financial modeling for new customer deals alongside the Sales and Revenue Operations teams.  Support pricing and trade-off decisions

    • Develop and maintain customer profitability models to help inform optimization opportunities and decision making alongside the Client Success organization

    • Lead monthly reporting and forecasting analysis of revenue and margin including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variances.  Ensure accuracy and transparency of results

    • Manage Senior Analyst including talent and technical skills development

    • Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in improving its competitive position and profitability

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

    • Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred.

    • 5+ years of relevant professional managerial experience.

    • 8+ years related experience in FP&A.

    • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Willingness to accept new challenges, and a high level of curiosity and creativity as it relates to new projects and problem solving

    • Comfortable manipulating large datasets and translating them into functional models

    • Experience with data visualization and big data tools a plus (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

    • Effective communication and cross functional business partnering. Ability to present to all levels of the organization including senior leadership

    • Financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

    • Workday and Adaptive Planning knowledge preferred

    • Proven experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement construction
