Your Role
As the Finance Manager Systems Implementation based in Melbourne, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for transforming, modernising, and simplifying our processes. You will be responsible for program delivery from approval to successful implementation. The role provides leadership, stakeholder management, innovation facilitation, budget management, reporting, team management, quality assurance and risk management.
The position partners with divisional leaders to identify, evaluate, and execute Acquire’s short- and long-term transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, drive strategic growth, enhance profitability, and reduce costs.
Your Accountabilities

Identify and prioritise existing process and system inefficiencies, recommend solutions and drive their timely implementation.

Lead cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, HR) to develop, prioritize and execute strategic initiatives that deliver improved business performance.

Develop financial and operational metrics to track progress of transformation goals.

Effectively communicate and develop internal agreement on optimal execution plan with key stakeholders.

Design and lead disciplined processes (new and existing) to implement strategic transformation initiatives.

Lead the business in developing and executing implementation plans to accelerate and realize value creation opportunities.

Prepare presentation materials and participate in update meetings with Executive and key stakeholders.

Identify potential issues and risks and develop mitigation plans.

Lead and develop internal talent.

About You
Your Experience
-
10+ years’ experience as a Program Manager or similar with knowledge of finance systems
-
Strong influencing, partnership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to balance the perfect with the pragmatic to reach outcomes that move the business forward quickly and effectively

Ability to analyze and improve processes.

Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings.

Comfortable dealing with complex, ambiguous, and challenging issues

Self-driven, change-oriented, independent thinker.

Experience in managing data to enable fact-based decision making to inform strategic and operational recommendations that translate into action.

Ability to conduct deep dive analysis and present information to key stakeholders in a digestible way.

Proven track record of leadership and developing high performing teams

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional stakeholder groups through effective communication and collaboration.

Experience with Workday Finance and HCM highly desirable
Your Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline (essential)
