About the Role

In this role, the Business Analyst will support our Accounting & Finance, HR, Operations and IT stakeholders in the optimization, on-going maintenance, operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday Ecosystem which include HCM, Finance, Adaptive Budgeting, Projects, and Safety. The business analyst will be a key member in the Workday Center of Excellence team and must have excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders on their requirements, turn those into design ideas, test, implement and provide ongoing support.

What You’ll Do

Serve as Workday Subject Matter Expert

  • Serve as a Workday expert to centralize knowledge between the HCM, Finance, Adaptive Budgeting, Projects, and Safety modules.
  • Keep up to date on new and upcoming Workday functionality through releases and Workday Community resources.

Update Configuration

  • Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders to define solutions for needed changes
  • Identify, analyze, and document business requirements for system changes
  • List and track project status and timeline, establish project scope and estimates.
  • Organize user acceptance testing with end users and perform testing on system changes.
  • Identify and implement ways to make current processes within Workday more efficient.
  • Assist with analyzing, coordinating and testing functionality of bi yearly Workday releases and ensure expected system operations across upgrades.
  • Work with outside consultants to troubleshoot Workday issues and implement new functionality.

Workday General Maintenance & Data Integrity

  • Assist with maintaining system security for users and business processes while ensuring data integrity and system stability.
  • Provide configuration support and troubleshooting on Workday security, integrations, reports and business processes.

About You

Must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 1 year of business analyst, quality analyst or systems analyst experience

Nice to haves: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems
  • Experience: 2-3 years of related business analyst experience concentrated in HR and or Finance processes
  • 1 year of experience with Workday HCM or ERP

  • Possesses strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and consultants
  • Ability to breakdown complex processes and turn them into actionable requirements
  • Aptitude to learn technical system configuration
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Possesses strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Workday security, business processes, reporting, integrations, or implementation of HCM/Finance modules preferred but not required.

At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote hybrid role, meaning employees will be required to come into the Stockton, California office on a weekly or as needed basis.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home (when schedules permit) – a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in-home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company’s Stow, Ohio office.
