A newly created full time fixed term (18 month) position has become available within the P&C Digital Services team here at AGL. Internally referred to as the Workday Change, Communications & Training Partner, you will be responsible for designing and developing a change management plan and to facilitate high quality Workday training and communication solutions across AGL that drives adoption of and uplifts employee and leader capability in our people system.   

This position will require travel to our operational sites to engage with leaders and deliver training and communication solutions.

               

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop a change management strategy and plan for the roll out of new Workday functionality across AGL enterprise wide.
  • Engage and align stakeholders and prepare them to successfully navigate and use Workday, driving adoption of Workday and measuring effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver communications and training efforts related to Workday systems and related process changes, including employee and leader training, newsletters or alerts, informational sites and manuals, training curriculum, and other related assets.
  • Collaborate across Workday support team and P&C functions to develop and execute communications and change plans.
  • Support a blended learning approach to program design and training solutions using innovative and creative techniques, for both technical and soft skill requirements.
  • Customise Workday training programs for different business audiences to ensure material and training is appropriate and relevant for the group.

About You

You will have proven and demonstrated experience in a change/communications role (or similar). You will be looking to make an impact in a supportive environment, where you will bring your sense of curiosity, willingness to learn and fresh/new ideas. Ideally, you will have some experience and exposure to Workday, or a passion for uplifting people system adoption.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Exceptional writing skills and creative outlook with strong attention to detail, editing and tone.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • The ability to work autonomously, as part of a team and effectively manage time and prioritise workload.
  • Creativity in building communication and trainings assets and change management tools.
  • Outstanding organisational and planning abilities.
  • Experience in instructionally designing a broad range of e-Learning and classroom-based courses.
  • Experience designing online and web-enhanced curriculum for training and/or education.
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, multi-media learning or a related field.
