Reporting to the Director – Employee Services and Human Capital (HC) systems, the Manager – HC technology leads the HC technology team towards excellence in managing our technology ecosystem, with a focus on exceptional employee experience, operational efficiency and the achievement of our organizational objectives.

What’s involved in this role:

  • Oversee and manage our HC technology ecosystem, ensuring its proper functioning and efficiency in supporting HC operations and administration, including payroll

  • Provide outstanding tier 2 and 3 support for HC systems questions and incidents, ensuring SLAs are met and user satisfaction is maximized

  • Working with the HC Teams, identify opportunities for enhancements and find innovative strategies that continuously improve systems, optimize processes and streamline operations

  • Lead initiatives to standardize and simplify HC processes through technology, maximizing the employee experience

  • Contribute to developing an HC technology roadmap that aligns with the organization's HC and business goals.  Execute and continuously refine the roadmap.

  • Ensure HC systems and processes comply with industry standards, organizational policies and legal requirements, with a strong focus on data security and privacy

  • Participates in the selection of HC technology and oversees its implementation, and maintenance, ensuring it meets the organization's evolving needs and standards.

  • Manage day to day relationships with HC technology vendors, and ensure service levels are met.

  • Research trends, best practices and emerging technologies to optimize and streamline HC processes and enhance employee experience.

  • Ensure integration between HC systems and other organizational systems.

Lead, coach, and develop his/her team, while building an inclusive culture.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 8 years experience in HRIS management, with a proven track record in analysis, configuration and deployment of new technology

  • 4 years of team management experience

  • Strong background in HR processes

  • Strong team management skills

  • Workday experience a must.  Kronos, UKG Dimension or other time tracking software experience a plus.

  • Bilingual French and English, written and spoken
