Alchemy is seeking an Associate Consultant for its NEW emerging talent program, Aspire, launching this November.

This program is NOT designed for established practitioners, experienced consultants, or career pivots. While we value these backgrounds, Alchemy’s Aspire Program is built to develop early talent. Candidates with more than 5 years of professional experience will not be considered. If you have more than 5 years of experience, please consider one of our consultant-level openings.  

In this one-year program, Alchemy consulting professionals will guide you through the highly sought-after Workday Student certification, extensive training and shadowing opportunities, and several key milestones on your way to becoming a billable Workday Student Consultant. 

 

As a Workday Student Core Associate Consultant, you will learn the ins and outs of the Workday Student modules, consulting and implementation fundamentals, Alchemy’s methodology for higher education deployments, and much more. Are you ready to get started? 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Successfully complete Workday prep and certification training, and become an expert in Workday Student Records/Advising or Recruiting/Admissions

  • Shadow consultants in various project phases while attending internal training sessions about higher education, Workday, consulting, and Alchemy 

  • Deliver demonstrations on Workday functional and technical topics; incorporate feedback from peers across Alchemy to refine and improve presentation

  • Begin to support Workday Student implementations with process design, basic configuration and conversion, systems testing, and customer project reviews

  • Learn to collaborate effectively on internal and external projects 

  • Partner with Leads and Project Managers to ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets 

  • Learn how to guide customers through Alchemy and Workday best practices 

  • Collaborate on internal efforts to improve documentation and methodology 

  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications 

 

About You (Required Skills) 

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 1-3 years of relevant higher education experience in Records, Curriculum, Advising, Recruiting, Enrollment, or Admissions

  • Experience working with Student solutions: Workday, Colleague, Banner, Kuali, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or similar applications 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage audience expectations 

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service 

  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals 

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Pay Transparency Statement

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Alchemy variable bonus plan based on role-specific commission/bonus. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Alchemy, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 USD.
