Workday Solutions Associate (Illuminate Program)

Applicants for this role, which is part of Alight’s Early Career Development Program – Illuminate, must have prior work experience, have graduated within the past 3 years (no earlier than 2020), a master’s, or a professional degree.

Alight partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment of Workday, a next-generation Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution. As a Workday Solutions Associate, you will collaborate with and support sales executives, solution consultants/architects, and delivery subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the competitive Workday landscape and sales pipeline, support scoping efforts to ensure accurate and appropriate solutions are achieved for customers in a cost-effective manner, and execute Alight’s go to market approach by responding to client RFPs/RFIs. Workday Solutions Associates play an integral role by working with multiple clients across a wide spectrum of industries to address business challenges and needs. A typical day can include the following:

  • Partnering with Sales Executives to gather client requirements and understand their strategic vision

  • Coordinating project scoping with Sales Executives, Solution Architects, and Delivery SMEs

  • Leveraging Workday knowledge/expertise to complete due diligence and prepare content for sales meetings

  • Collaborating with Solution Architects to document detailed system estimates for solutions and offerings

  • Supporting Sales Executives and Solution Architects in review of Statement of Work 

  • Creating content for RFPs/RFIs and sales presentations including timelines, estimates and scope assumptions

  • Owning maintenance and modification of business development tools including content for proposals and SOWs

  • Leveraging problem solving skills to manage issues and risks

  • Participating in internal Alight initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of prior work experience or master’s or professional degree

  • Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning software knowledge is a plus (i.e. Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday)

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $58,300.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $75,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
