Workday Technical Associate Consultant (Illuminate Program)
Applicants for this role, which is part of Alight’s Early Career Development Program – Illuminate, must have prior work experience, have graduated within the past 3 years (no earlier than 2020), a master’s, or a professional degree.
Alight partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment of Workday, a next-generation Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution. As a Workday Technical Associate Consultant, you will collaborate with customers to transform their workforce experience, improve business processes to meet the needs of a changing world and implement new technology that empowers organizations to make sustainable decisions. Workday Associate Consultants play an integral role by working with multiple clients across a wide spectrum of industries and locations to address business challenges and needs while also deploying or providing ongoing Workday support. A typical day can include the following:

Managing the successful and on-schedule completion of Workday conversion activities and deliverables throughout the project life cycle

Ensuring adherence to Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) methodology and best practices
-
Participating in client discussions on data requirements, conversion methodology and data validation
-
Building and unit testing Workday integrations
-
Working with Integration Leads to ensure that designs are clear and incorporate any changes or updates needed as the build progresses
-
Becoming a hands-on subject matter expert in Workday integration development including technologies such as XSLT, web services, and Workday Studio
-
Collaborating with other teams within the organization to solve cross functional issues
-
Leveraging problem solving skills to manage issues and risks
-
Monitoring progress of tasks against a project plan and communicating status updates on key deliverables
-
Participating in internal Alight initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth

Will be aligned to consult in one of the following areas (alignment will be determined by business need, interest, and skills):
– Data Conversions
– Integrations
– Reporting/Data Analytics

Experience with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Computer Science and 1-3 years of prior work experience or master’s or professional degree

Familiarity with object-oriented programming, APIs, XML/JSON/XSLT/XPath, and ETL processing concepts preferred

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $64,100.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $85,000.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
