The rol:

Reporting to the EMEA financial controller, the role holder will be responsible for the preparation and audit of statutory accounts for seven UK entities.

With an initial focus on delivering statutory accounts ahead of the deadlines, the role will develop so that the processes implemented for the UK can be rolled out across the EMEA region. 

The requirements:           

Recently qualified ACA/ACCA

Experience in:

Practise experience preferred

Working with external auditors

Hands on FRS 101/102 account preparation

Excel and Word

Workday financial systems or similar

Reconciliation (preparation and review)

The responsibilities:

Key objective is to fulfil statutory reporting obligations for seven UK entities.

Prepare financial statements for 7 UK companies (2 Operating, 5 Holding), and transition elements to entity controllers when stabilised.

Ensure all documentation required for statutory audits is prepared by the entity controllers, who are based in India, and reviewed prior to audit.

Coordinate half year and full year statutory financial reviews as part of board meetings across EMEA.

Review of US GAAP to statutory account reconciliations and documentation.

Liaison with auditors to ensure accounts are audited and signed off ahead of statutory deadlines.

Liaison with Alight corporate tax team to ensure information required for tax filings is submitted on time and impact reflected in the financial statements.

Support tax on implementation of transfer pricing policy.

Support EMEA Controller on ad-hoc projects and restructuring activities.
