Alight is currently recruiting for a Workday Managing Consultant to work within their Professional Services business group. As a member of the Technical Practice, you will be focused on clients who are new to Workday and going through an initial Implementation and those who are live with Workday; working closely with clients throughout the duration of their partnership with Alight. 
 

As An Workday Integrations Managing Consultant (Workday Developer experience), a typical day to include the following:
An Integrations Consultant must possess broad experience with system implementations and deep knowledge of Workday technology with concentration in a specific domain. Will generally be assigned to multiple simultaneous projects.
 

Collaborates with the Integrations Delivery Manager / Project Manager, the Integrations Consultant ensures that all integration solutions are designed and built to client specifications. The Integration Consultant also ensures all integrations assigned are delivered on time and that all project deliverables are met.

  • Work direct with our customers under the guidance and direction of our Project Leads on new integration deployments, 

  • Work with multiple new and existing clients, building productive, in-depth relationships, 

  • Engage with initial implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition,

  • Consult with customers to deliver appropriate and forward-thinking solutions, 

  • Participate in the integration discovery process, obtaining a thorough understanding of the client's business requirements and identifying the most appropriate integration approach, 

  • Translate the client's requirements into a detailed design that fully leverages the Workday integration toolset, 

  • Fully utilize the Workday integration toolset to build robust integration solutions for our clients, 

  • Investigate and deliver solutions to issues raised by customers, 

  • Conduct root cause analysis and guide the client in implementing improvements and preventative measures, 

  • Participate in health checks on our client's Workday integration landscape; providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance, improve accuracy and ensure the client is maximizing their Workday investment, 

  • Mentor and coach others in the team, helping to build their knowledge and skills in order to improve delivery, 

  • Champion our methodology to ensure consistency of service and completion of all milestones and deliverables to plan, 

  • Provide input into continuous process improvements based on your project experiences. 

Individuals in this role may be expected to either:

o    Guide a project team as well as to take on a lead role within any project in which they may serve as an active participant OR

o    Become the lead Subject Matter Expert within the Integration area of Workday.

o    Provide guidance to resolve client needs
 

Knowledge and Expertise of: 

·    Workday Integrations and Studio certification preferred.

·    5 to 7 plus years of experience implementing HR, Payroll or Financials technical solutions with Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar applications 

·    5 to 7 plus years consulting experience, either within a consulting/software organization or as an internal consultant

·    Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements

·    Thorough understanding of and experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)

·    Demonstrated project management experience

·    Can effectively manage the activities and deliverables of a team

·    Ability and willingness to train and mentor other team members

·    Quick learner and motivated to understand various technologies

·    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·    Strong work ethic

·    Ability to manage fluctuating workloads

·    Passion for data accuracy and completeness

·    Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment towards the job and goals of the organization

·    Ability to handle multiple high priority activities concurrently

·    Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

·    Workday Integration Core and additional Workday Integration certifications (e.g. Extend, Studio) are strongly preferred. 

·    Successful completion of select Workday Certification(s) or currently Workday Certified is a requirement of the role.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business or financial discipline or relevant field of study.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $112,700.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $178,900.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
