SR BENEFITS ANALYST – REMOTE USA

Responsible for benefits administration and plan compliance maintenance including communications, invoices, onboarding new vendors, updating & maintaining policies & documenting procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Update & maintain benefits’ website and coordinate benefit communications; ensure the overall benefits annual communication plan is executed clearly and on schedule

  • Update & maintain plan documents based on regulatory requirements include Summary Plan Descriptions (SPD) & Summary Annual Reports (SAR); coordinate updates with vendors

  • Ensure required compliance processes & submissions are completed timely & accurately

  • Develop a new vendor onboarding process & onboard new vendors ensuring processes and documents are completed in advance of implementation dates

  • Create, analyze, evaluate & process monthly invoices for benefit plans & services working closely with vendors, procurement, & accounts payable teams to ensure automation & efficiencies

  • Provide open enrollment support by editing communication materials, coordinating site meetings & coordinating vendor communication, materials & giveaways

  • Update and maintain all policies owned by benefits including tuition assistance, adoption assistance, Family and Medical Leave, military leave, parental leave, personal leave, & paid time off, etc.

  • Continuously evaluate, recommend, & implement more efficient and effective processes & procedures with a focus on documenting standard work

  • Collaborate with legal, payroll & other internal HR teams to update and maintain policies

  • Participate in internal acceptance testing for Workday enhancements & upgrades; partner with HRIS teams on solutions

  • Organize and facilitate employee feedback sessions to solicit benefits program input

  • Participate in special projects as needed

  • Organize, update, and maintain the benefits shared drive

  • Act as back-up for others on the benefits team

What You Need to Succeed:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related area or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of five years of progressive benefits communication, administrative, and analytical experience

  • Familiarity with federal and state benefits regulations including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and the Internal Revenue Code

  • Experience in vendor administration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to diagnose problems, identify procedural irregularities, and drive appropriate solutions

  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Ability to maintain and uphold the strictest confidentiality over personally identifiable information

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to be resourceful in finding solutions

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) intermediate skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Workday

  • Vendor management experience

  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $66,000 – $132,000.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
