We are seeking an AVP, Talent Acquisition Partner in Nashville, or New York to join the Talent Acquisition Team. Job Description  

As a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will have primary accountability for identifying and attracting top Financial Advisor talent for the company’s Private Client business throughout the United States.  The Talent Acquisition Partner will play the role of researcher, relationship builder, and career ambassador. You will engage with active and passive candidates, learn about their careers, aspirations, and interests, and connect them with opportunities at AllianceBernstein. Through collaborative and strategic working relationships with the business, the Talent Acquisition team provides a consultative approach to workforce planning by effectively anticipating organizational talent needs/gaps and, subsequently working to develop a network of passive candidate pools to meet those critical business needs. Candidates must be able to:

  • Develop an effective network of talent from competitors and industry leaders 

  • Demonstrate experience with pre-screening, qualifying, and sourcing external candidates

  • Prioritize identifying a diverse slate of candidates

  • Handle large requisition volumes in a fast-paced, dynamic organization

  • Have a foundational understanding of sourcing techniques, both traditional and emerging, inclusive of social media technology and a knowledge of typical barriers to entry that diverse populations face

  • Interview candidates for core and leadership competencies, and future potential

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal business partners by building personal credibility and trust, to work effectively at various levels within the company

  • Be a collaborative partner – with external as well as internal stakeholders

  • Think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

 

Job Qualifications & Key Attributes

 

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years recruiting experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth and volume industry. Additionally, the candidate should possess:

  • 5 years of experience recruiting Wealth Advisors, in either a corporate or agency environment for the Private Wealth Management sector

  • Track record of recruiting high-caliber talent, with periods of significant volume and high expectations of service quality and fast-paced delivery

  • Experience with and a strong belief in the importance of integrating D&I into the recruiting processes

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, i.e. Workday Recruiting is a plus

  • Prior experience with LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Excellent client service focus with an ability to develop effective partnerships inside and outside of the organization

  • Ability to work successfully as a part of a growing team and with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach

  • Forward-thinking mentality that results in planning ahead, taking a proactive approach to following up on tasks / activities without being reminded.

  • Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities, communicate early when deliverables or deadlines may be missed.

  • Heightened sense of urgency and responsiveness and an ability to prioritize quickly

  • High levels of Intellectual curiosity, accountability, integrity and judgment

In accordance with Section 8-107(32) as set forth in the New York City Human Rights Law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:

Base Salary Range: $150,000 to $200,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, benefits, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, and other incentives.
