The opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, HR Operations, you will play a key role in our people strategy, focusing on Workday enhancements, integrations, new module implementations, and configurations.

 

Who you are:

You are a Workday expert with 3-5 years of experience in Workday looking to move up to the Senior level. You may be at a large organization looking for a chance to broaden your hands-on exposure or you may be at a smaller company, seeking the opportunity to join a scaling, mid-size global company. You have deep hands-on skills implementing and configuring Workday and you have solid project management skills.

The Role:

  • Drive updates to the Workday system. You will deliver new functionality, enhancements, and semi-annual updates while leveraging insights and experience to identify process improvement opportunities. 

  • Propose solutions. You will develop an understanding of our current state capabilities and define, design, document, test, and deploy new features in Workday to solve business operations problems.

  • Execute. You will lead the implementation and configuration of new modules, working cross-functionally where necessary to ensure adherence to business processes and security requirements.

  • Share knowledge. You will contribute to the development, documentation, training, and communication of end-user materials. You will identify issues, troubleshoot to find solutions, and create detailed documentation.

  • Maintain. You will maintain data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure full functionality. 

  • Collaborate. You will partner with other HR users to understand gaps and goals and update Workday’s foundational and organizational structure.

 

Requirements:

  • You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration, business process administration, and maintenance. You have proven analytical skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • You have a broad and deep understanding of various Workday modules – HCM, Security, Reporting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, etc., and how to align modules to meet the needs of HR operations and continuous process improvement initiatives. You have experience maintaining data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits, and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. You can build strong, collaborative working relationships and you have a proven ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
