Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage garnishment processing; send in garnishment notices to our payroll compliance partners, update garnishment tracker, collaborate with appropriate departments and answer any questions pertaining to the order at the vendors request
  • Prepare payroll records for legal requests
  • Help with W2 distribution and fulfilling employee document requests
  • Manage uncashed check reporting, lost checks, and replacement checks
  • Audit system to make sure all new hires and terminations are processed within the appropriate systems
  • Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
  • Open and handle all incoming/outgoing mail for Finance team
  • Handle tax forms and other associate requests for information
  • Employment verification processing
  • Assist with other payroll related responsibilities and projects as needed
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related major preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in a professional environment; preferably within a Finance or Payroll function
  • Computer/Tech Savvy >> previous experience with Workday or any payroll software will be highly valued
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service, ability to build relationships, and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to see multiple points of view and work as a team player
  • Work location is onsite at Mercedes Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta
