Job Summary
As a Total Rewards Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, maintain, and enhancing the administration of all compensation and benefits programs to attract top talent and maintain our competitive position in the industry. As a part of the Total Rewards team, this position will help drive company initiatives in partnership with our greater Human Resources team and business stakeholders. We are seeking a highly motivated, data and results driven leader with an innovative and collaborative mindset.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Â

Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, implementation, communication, and deployment of our Total Rewards programs including health, wellness, retirement, compensation, incentives, and other rewards programs.Â

Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HRIS, Payroll, HR Operations, Finance, and Distribution Channels.Â

Responsible for ongoing research on compensation and benefits analysis to support business decision making. Key focus on DE&I analysis and program design to ensure AmeriLife’s total rewards programs are inclusive.Â

Partner with our Finance team on annual compensation planning and budget process.Â

Partner with HRBPs and leaders to leverage compensation and benefits programs to meet organizational objectives.Â

Analyze the market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of our compensation and benefit plans to ensure they optimize our ability to attract and retain top talent.Â

Oversee the management of our benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation.Â

Lead design and administration of compensation programs including base pay, variable pay, merit, compensation planning, and market analysis with a focus on continuous improvement.Â

Provide resources and training materials for Compensation Planners during company bonus and merit cyclesÂ

Ensure compliance in administration of company benefits, leave, & compensation programsÂ

QUALIFICATIONS:  Â

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field requiredÂ
-
5+ years of experience in HR, particularly in Benefits & Compensation requiredÂ
-
2+ years of HR Leadership experienceÂ
-
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) preferred Â
-
Working knowledge of local, state and federal policies surrounding employer benefits, leave administration, and compensation practicesÂ

Hands on experience with HR technology – Workday experience highly preferred.Â

Experience in Change and Project Management Â

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Â
