Workday Compensation Analyst – Compensation/Benefits

What you will do

Amgen is seeking a Workday Compensation Analyst who will provide overall support for Amgen’s Workday system with a focus on the Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules. The Workday Compensation Analyst will contribute to the delivery of high-quality and timely service to cross-functional organizations. As part of the Compensation product team, the Workday Compensation Analyst will support the implementation of system configuration updates while contributing to HR Technology Release planning, analysis and deployment for the functional area of responsibility.

The Workday Compensation Analyst will report to the Sr Manager of HR Systems & Solutions based in Tampa, FL.

 

Key Activities of the Workday Compensation Analyst include:

  • Serve as the key Workday configuration expert on Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.

  • Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increase, bonus, and equity grant processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established timelines.

  • Contribute to research, evaluation, planning, and deployment of technology-related HR initiatives.

  • Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness.

  • Support other functional areas such as Core HCM, recruitment, Time/Absence, and Payroll as necessary.

  • Apply Amgen’s Information Security and Privacy policies, standards, and processes to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our HR data.

  • Work with HR Technology service provider for complex project implementations.

  • Responsible for successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to compensation management and Workday functionality.

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience
OR

Associate’s degree and 6 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience
OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Workday, focusing on Configuration, Reporting, and Business Process administration.

  • Demonstrated success in managing projects related to HR Technology in a fast-paced, Agile Environment.

  • Proficient in implementing new HR Technology solutions, optimizing business processes, and improving workflow efficiency.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Track record of delivering successful outcomes in both HR and IT environments, with a focus on enhancing the overall user experience.
