Job Title:

Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) are aligned with our business units and business leaders and provide HR expertise and consulting for building organizational capability to achieve current and future business objectives by developing proactive Human Resource strategies and practices. The HRBP contributes to defining and implementing a Human Resource strategy that integrates client strategy and goals. This role serves as a strategic partner to business unit leadership by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR services.

Responsibilities

  • Represent HR as a professional and trusted partner across all levels

  • Act as a liaison to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs

  • Guide clients on HR policies, processes, and procedures interpretation

  • Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes

  • Support the implementation of innovative HR solutions to manage organizational change, engage employees, increase org effectiveness and strategic talent management

  • Understand the cultural pulse of the organization and help align people practices that drive high performance

  • Collaborate with leaders to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

  • Provide expert day-to-day performance management guidance in areas such as coaching, counseling, career development, and employee relations

  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals and evaluate training programs as needed

  • Support managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy

  • Analyze trends and metrics and develop practical and realistic plans to mitigate them

  • Monitor, report, and provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning as needed

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data in systems and adhere to set HR governance practices

  • Develop and promote ongoing feedback mechanisms to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR policies, processes, and initiatives

  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends

  • Drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement

  • Be a supportive and enthusiastic team player and facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture

  • Manage HR projects and champion HR initiatives

  • Contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives

  • Other tasks as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, or related field

  • 4 to 5 years experience in Human Resources

  • Graduate degree and PHR/SPHR Certification preferred

  • Substantial business acumen

  • Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other HR initiatives and business strategy

  • Able to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy

  • Able to identify new ways for HR to support the business strategy

  • Able to collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data

  • Able to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis

  • Able to engage, inspire, and influence people

  • Able to deliver relevant, effective training programs to targeted audiences

  • Effective team player and networker

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

  • Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), and talent management practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education – Bachelor’s Degree

Certifications Required – Graduate degree and PHR/SPHR Certification preferred  

Experience Required – 3-5 Year
