Role Overview:
The Corporate Card Administrator is responsible for the daily management of Ankura’s Global Corporate and Purchasing Cards. This role serves as the main contact for Ankura’s corporate card program, handling all card-related operations and strategic initiatives. The administrator will assist employees with Workday expense reporting, and ensures compliance with corporate cards usage policy, this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, basic data analysis, and PowerPoint. Support will be provided in US Eastern Standard Time, with backup coverage for other time zones.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day administration and issuance of Corporate and Purchasing Cards.
• Terminate cards for exiting employees or those transferring to roles without card requirements.
• Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate collection activities.
• Update profiles and perform administrative updates to maintain clean data.
• Review transaction reports to detect and address unusual or unauthorized spending.
• Generate and assess spending reports to ensure compliance and flag irregular activity.
• Manage the corporate credit card email inbox and collaborate with departments to collect data and documents.
• Escalate issues, concerns, or unauthorized spending as necessary.
• Review and suggest process efficiencies or enhancements, ensuring compliance and consistent customer service.
• Oversee M&A-related card activities during company transitions.
• Assist in monitoring and responding to fraud alerts and referral cases to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide alerts to delinquent cardholders and act as an escalation point.
• Respond to corporate card inquiries via Teams and other channels.
• Participate in regular calls with Banks to discuss -card program.
• Oversee card-related training for card applicants and contribute to policy updates.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare manual journal entries in Workday.
• Provide end-of-quarter support to Finance and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
• Handle special projects and manage changing priorities under pressure.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization, with a preference for customer service experience.
2. Knowledge of card administration using banking systems; Bank of America experience is an advantage.
3. At least 4 years of experience with Workday Expense, accounting systems, leveraging AI and RPA tools to enhance program efficiency and compliance
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
8. Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI).
Education and Experience:
• 4+ years in an accounting or finance-related role.
• 3 years in a Card Program Administrator role.
• Bachelor of Commerce. with excellent English language and interpersonal skills.
Location: Gurgaon
Timing: 2 PM – 10 PM IST
Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days Office/2 days Home)
