This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment located in Troy, MI. 

 

Summary: 

 

Aptiv is seeking for an enthusiastic and driven HR Apprentice, with an eye for creativity, to support the HR team in day-to-day administrative tasks and projects. In this role you will have exposure to talent planning, employee engagement, onboarding/offboarding, and communication cadences. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop an employee engagement calendar and oversee all engagement activities 

  • Provide support with day-to-day HR tasks by answering employee inquiries 

  • Support employee training initiatives/rollout for assigned staff areas.   

  • HRIS Administration:  Complete Workday HRIS transactions as required & data certification processes for assigned staff.  Ensure accuracy/data integrity through audits. 

  • Reporting / Data Analysis:  Assist in preparing reports, analyzing data or conditions and interpreting human resource management policies & procedures accordingly 

 

 

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications): 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to handle data with high confidentiality. 

• Ability to function well in a high-paced, team-oriented environment. 

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
