Job Summary:   

In this newly created role, the Financial Data Analyst will work as a key liaison between our Corporate Accounting, FP&A and IT functions to manage our master data.  We recently went live on SAP and are looking for this position to be the go-to authority for anything master data related – this could be changes to the general ledger, creating a new cost center and many others.  If you are interested in technology, establishing processes and love being as detail oriented as possible, read on for more information. 

Essential Duties:

  • Updates and maintains information in the SAP/BW/BPC databases and associated applications including outline additions/deletions and verification of data synchronization to SAP/Business Warehouse (PNG) and as needed.
  • Includes but not limited to, chart of accounts, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, WBS Elements, Internal Orders, Settlement Rules, Plant, Company codes, employee moves, workday updates, etc.
  • Maintains summary schedule (Enterprise Structure files) information for reference on the shared drive for each state and its corresponding companies, for items previously referenced
  • Maintains main and alternate hierarchies to assist in reporting for various systems
  • Monthly validation process that all new changes were documented, implemented, and communicated with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Collects and analyzes financial information and tracks the company’s progress against financial goals.  Identifies and communicates issues to management.
  • Prepares and reviews disclosures for the quarterly and annual public financial statements as assigned.
  • Performs other related assignments as assigned.              


You will be a technically savvy, financial professional who understands database integrity, report writing and meta data creation. 

Additionally, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems or a related field
  • 2 -4 years of financial analytical experience
  • SAP experience


  • Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office suite: Word‚ PowerPoint‚ Excel and other technologies applicable to job.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customers
  • Strong investigative skills required to research issues, interpret facts and provide explanations verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment
