Project Manager – Payroll

Job Description:

Leading complex cross functional Payroll projects, project calls, assigning work and managing projects to timeline and defined outcomes. Stakeholder management—Leading stakeholder management sessions and keeping various management abreast of potential issues by maintaining open lines of communication. Creating project related process documents. Assisting in training new and existing employees with regard to policies and procedures related to project outcomes. This is a hybrid position that allows for 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project schedule to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Report project status, issue and risks on a recurring basis

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years payroll and time & absence experience (US, Canada and Latin America)

  • Expert in project management software

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Proven working experience in project management

  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Assist in training new and existing employees with regard to policies and procedures related to project outcomes

  • Successful candidate will be expected to work a hybrid schedule of a minimum of 2 days in the Panorama office

  • UKG Payroll

  • UTA / Kronos

  • Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules

  • Led US/Canada year end payroll projects

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$78,300.00 – $102,300.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
