Position Overview

This group partners closely with People & Places teams to provide high scale operational reporting and data support services. As a People Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing data transaction support and accurate responses to data queries.


  • Partners with Workday, ServiceNow expert team members to ensure data accuracy in transactions

  • Share data availability and data quality, identify appropriate data sources

  • Be the first line of support when HR system users have questions related to Workday HCM modules

  • Ensure data quality within Workday and downstream applications

  • Lead, drive and participate in various internal and organizational projects for People Data Operations team

  • Flexibility in type of tasks, he/she will need to take on – balance between repeatable tasks such as data processing, data integrity checks, and dashboard maintenance

  • Contributes to the development of user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and training materials for the Workday system

  • Identifies and recommends business process improvements, and/or system optimization opportunities to better align with business needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on Informatics, Information Systems or in Human Resource

  • Minimum of five + years of professional experience supporting Workday HCM in hands-on, business facing roles, preferably in large global organizations: Workday required

  • Functional experience in Workday HCM modules like core HR, EIB, Payroll, Absence, Time tracking , Compensation, Recruiting or Benefits

  • Experience in Workday Security

  • Experience using a ticketing management system required, Service Now preferred

  • Knowledge on business process configuration , building validation/condition rules, setting up notifications

  • Knowledge on Custom fields, custom reports, calculated fields

  • Knowledge of various data sources available and how to use them

  • Knowledge in creating and troubleshooting EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)

  • Ability to work independently and at scale

  • Detail oriented, with ability to improve processes

  • Able to quickly translate broader business objectives into defined tasks with minimal direction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good analytical skills, technical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Eager to learn new things and passionate about technology

  • Flexible and be able to embrace change effectively
