About the role

We are recruiting for a Workday Consultant in Core HCM with proven experience in configuration of the core module, business processes as well as being a subject matter expert in at least one other area.

The role will involve working very closely with stakeholders across the People function, in addition to IT and other functional areas to maintain current best practices as well as influencing new and improving existing experiences to help better utilise the system for all users.

You will be implementing a new and exciting changes to help support the ever-increasing change portfolio with the existing in-house Workday team as well as supporting the run team with complex technical queries.

Your tasks:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday across the modules with a drive to learn and deliver across multiple areas of the system and to communicate Workday’s capabilities and limitations
  • Proactively suggest and lead systems improvements, using business requirements to inform technical design, to process configuration, security set up and testing
  • Keep up to date on new functionalities and proactively identify enhancements to current ways of working
  • Work collaboratively with existing team on both run and change activity including business analysis, configuration, and testing
  • Share knowledge of best practice, systems enhancements and reporting with wider People Systems team and the People Function

 

In summary you will be:

  • Supporting markets globally in day-to-day run and change activities
  • Configuring systems including business processes, integrations, and reports
  • Working closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs and requirements
  • Testing end to end processes to meet internal governance practices
  • Aware of IT change practices and employee data protection principles

 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in core HCM as well as SME in at least one additional module
  • Consultancy and stakeholder management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of data
  • An excellent communicator with skills both written and verbal
  • System configuration, business process mapping, testing skills
