The HR Project Specialist is responsible for engaging with all employees assisting with initial intake of Employee and Labor Relations matters, providing information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation and Ergonomic programs, and updating the Employment Guidelines and State
Supplemental Guidelines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assists with initial intake of Employee and Labor Relations matters.
  • Functions as a scribe for workplace investigations.
  • Responds to inquiries pertaining to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation and Ergonomic programs.
  • Updates the Employment Guidelines and State-specific Supplemental Guidelines.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s Degree

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of Employee and/or Labor Relations experience in a similar role
  • Ability to execute tasks with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to engage positively with multiple groups and various stakeholders
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
  • Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, etc.) is necessary

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

  • All Babson College faculty and staff authorized to work on campus must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any appropriate boosters. ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE

Prior experience with Workday a plus.
