Your role at Baxter
You will be responsible for all activities involved with the Skaneateles Falls hourly staffing and is a support resource for activities associated with salaried staffing. You will handle activities involved with maintaining operations employee data in the Human Resources Information and Payroll Systems and support additional functions at Skaneateles Falls. This position is the first contact for policy and payroll questions.

What you'll be doing
- Create ad hoc reporting as needed to support strategic objectives as well as running scheduled weekly and monthly reports for multiple departments
- Report (absenteeism, Contingent Time Detail, Worker’s Comp offset, EHS Monthly Labor Hours, Monthly Direct Labor Accrual Report for Finance, Monthly payroll/attendance adjustments and payroll critical metrics, and others
- Upload Disciplinary actions, Employee files, and Kronos Attendance
- Orientation preparation and scheduling, process new hire I-9s
- Build new hire Kronos profiles and update new badge information in Kronos
- Complete weekly payroll on Monday mornings (hours worked, short term disability, FMLA); Review and approve Excessive hours payroll reports on Tuesdays; Monthly and Weekly payroll related Auditing
- Worker’s Compensation Form 22
- Process On-Demand payments in Workday, one-time payments & historical corrections, payroll, and attendance adjustments
- Submit earned PTO hours for terminated employees to HRCentral; Kronos profile changes of internal movements- shift and updating reserved PTO hours.
- Maintain and audit BaxU training records for the Skaneateles Falls site to assure timely completion and compliance
- Schedule ILT (Instructor Led Trainings) for Operations team and upload sign off roster in system
- Assist employees with self-service/Workday systems
- Backup for HR Generalist
What you'll bring
- Proficiency in digital literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) is required
- Minimum two-year associate's degree is required with a four-year degree preferred.
- 3+ years of payroll, Workday, and Kronos system experience preferred
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.Â
