Your role at Baxter

As the Senior Human Resources Representative you will be supporting the North Cove site in Marion, NC. Your HR expertise will support our employees across all levels at this location.

What you'll be doing

  • Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs(performance management, ACR, OI)
  • Proactively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies, in addition to key HR programs and KPI’s.
  • Responsible for coordination of LOA/ADA policy and process.
  • Works independently to resolve straightforward ER issues. As well as helps resolve moderately complex ER issues.
  • Participates in local talent planning which includes implementation of function-wide training and development plans and talent management support including support of leadership assessment process.
  • Data management responsibilities to include processing workflow changes in Workday, audits of data, earnings uploads and data correction workflows.
  • Maintain measurement systems and analyze data to determine the impact of HR programs.
  • Makes recommendations to management based upon analysis.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations
  • Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of human resource professional experience working with executives in a large / Fortune 500 Company.
  • HR experience within a manufacturing/plant environment strongly preferred.
  • HR Certifications are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience managing internal communication processes, and planning meetings, training and employee events a plus.
  • Disciplined action and execution, ability to drive operational excellence, promote teamwork, communicate optimally.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with strong technology application and analytical skills.
  • Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
  • Bilingual communication (written and verbal) (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Flexible schedule to support off shifts, required.
  • MS Office proficiency required; Workday HRIS experience preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000 – $99,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
