You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

As a member of the Reward & Recognition team, you will a key liaison across the business, and will also lead on firmwide projects that will give our people a best-in-class employee experience.

Your projects will be varied and involve the full breadth of our compensation remit, such as leading the design and implementation of systems and processes, developing analytics to measure the impact of our offerings on our diversity & inclusion agenda, and supporting the design and roll-out of innovative solutions. 

This is a maternity cover role, and you will have the opportunity to use your initiative to shape your work by focussing on finding opportunities, recommending solutions, project management and building key relationships within and outside of HR. 

You will work together with your Reward team colleagues, HR generalists, the Shared Services Centre, the Workday team, Wellbeing and other COEs, looking ahead to establish new and streamline existing processes that support BDO’s business growth objectives. 

You’ll be someone with:

  • Compensation experience
  • Excellent analytical skills & business acumen
  • Project coordination and experience managing ambiguous projects
  • Possess skills to manage stakeholders and partner expectations
  • Effective collaboration and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and virtually
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Proficient user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience of complex modelling (such as pay and bonus modelling) and statistical analysis using Excel preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experiences with Compensation tools and (Workday knowledge is a plus)
