We’ll help you succeed

This will be a challenging and rewarding role where the successful candidate will support numerous aspects of a growing and dynamic team.

This is a key role as the day-to-day contact for all questions around our internal system (Workday).  In essence you will become a system expert.  The role will answer and triage all questions relating to the system (Workday) and any more in-depth technical questions will be passed to the relevant team to action.  This role will involve analysis of existing processes and based on FAQ’s look to work with project teams to deliver efficiency.

Take ownership for creation and development of administrative task.  Look at process improvements to create efficiencies within the way the system works. Point of contact for the administration team to support with their day-to-day activities.


  • Compiling PowerPoint presentations based on content provided by managers both internally to the SSC and from wider sources throughout the firm
  • Maintaining Excel spreadsheets, tracking FAQ’s
  • Analysis of FAQ’s and looking at process improvements
  • To provide an exceptional client experience and support client initiatives within the firm, as well as being responsive and helping to create a positive impression at all touch points

Service Management:

  • Gather data for internal and external MI dashboards.
  • Publicise and communicate SSC services / performance within BDO through all channels.
  • Act as point of escalation for stakeholders’ queries.

  • Workday system usage would be advantageous but not essential
  • IT skills – strong working knowledge of MS Office/Office365 Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of administration ideally in an internal service or change management environment
  • Credible and confident to interact with internal managers
  • Strong people skills: empathetic and encouraging style to support colleagues and internal clients.
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills. Be able to lead by example and influence optimal performance of team.
  • Responsible and has tenacity to ensure delivery of excellent client service by SSC
  • Confident and robust enough to challenge standards where required
  • Ability to learn new skills and an appetite to develop.
