What you’ll do

You will provide a range of core HR support and advice to employees as well as develop an effective working relationship with managers. Focus is not limited to, offering guidance on talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, terminations, employment law compliance, and HR best practices ensuring a holistic People approach.

How you’ll do it

  • Deliver first line HR advice to employees and managers alike in line with Company policy, processes, and procedures
  • Support Employee Relations casework and when requested (and where appropriate), lead on such casework
  • Responsible for all Talent Acquisition activities, including liaison with finance for recruitment signoffs, and recruitment agencies, job postings (internal and external), sourcing, screening, interview planning which will require supporting hiring managers with interviewing
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, not limited to recruiting, onboarding, compensation and benefits, off-boarding and systems administration while seeking ways to build out programs that embody our values 
  • Assist EMEA’s payroll process; prepare and collect payroll data as required, ensuring a timely and effective interface into Belkin’s payroll partners for complete payroll processing
  • Liaising with diverse suppliers and managing administrative related work to all current and new/suggested employee benefits such as pension, health insurance etc.
  • Full ownership of Workday – HR database, which is not limited to on boarding, induction process (workflow the hiring process). Maintain accurate and legally required employee documentation i.e.  offer letters, contracts, and other starter documentation
  • Schedule, manage and deliver Belkin’s new hire induction training. Delivery of the Companies corporate induction content while facilitating with department managers for localized department inductions
  • Develop and deliver various HR trainings as per changing business requirements (performance evaluations, HR best practices, Workday guidance, sickness management etc.)
  • Partner with the People Manager to draft and administer employee policies; ensuring programs, practices, and reporting are compliant
  • Responsible for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health. Requirement to provide guidance and support on these elements of employee services
  • Responsible for all employee benefit administration (examples; pension and insurances) for the assigned region and third-party contact
  • Monitor HR and systems processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Support in designing the automation of HR processes
  • Administration of sickness and data analysis (e.g., calculation of sickness %, frequency etc.) and first level case management. Keep up to date with current sickness cases and inform the case manager timely
  • Support all HR reporting and undertake analysis highlighting trends to business owners and or People Manager; support remedial actions where required
  • Assist and when requested take the lead on HR projects or initiatives

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accreditation in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Between 3 to 5 years’ human resources generalist experience in an international environment
  • Experienced in looking after a client group based in the Netherlands as well as other European countries
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English. Any other European language will be an added advantage, Dutch speakers will have their application advanced
  • Effective team worker with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong attention to detail, pro-active, accurate and a hands-on approach
  • Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law within Europe
  • Experience with Workday (HRIS) will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently, flexible and have demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Approachable with a strong desire to be customer focused
  • Well organized with excellent planning and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to a minimum level of intermediary plus
