Job Description:

The Global Compensation Analyst provides support in all aspects of the company compensation function.  Key responsibilities include collecting data and conducting analysis to enable decision making related to compensation policies and programs, assist with activities to support the deployment and delivery of compensation or cross-functional projects to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and supports the design, implementation and administration of global compensation policies, guidelines and programs while ensuring consistency with compensation trends and company’s compensation philosophy and business objectives.

  • Provides consultative guidance and recommendations for management, HR Business Partners and recruitment teams on pay decisions to attract, motivate and retain top talent.

  • Supports company’s participation in third-party market surveys and provides recommendations based on results.

  • Conducts and supports all annual compensation-related programs including data analysis, communication materials, coordination of information amongst HR and Payroll and support HR Business Partners and managers throughout these processes.

  • Provides analytical support for a wide range of compensation issues and projects designed to support business strategies.

  • Supports and works closely with HRIS to ensure compensation attributes properly designed, configured and implemented in company HRIS system (Workday)

  • Ensures compensation compliance with federal, state, provincial, country and other local laws governing compensation practices and recommends appropriate courses of action.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA in Business, Human Resources or related discipline

  • 1 – 3 years’ related work experience in Human Resources and Compensation

  • Working knowledge of human resources and compensation policies, practices and standards

  • Intermediate computers skills with Microsoft business applications and HRIS systems

  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to convert into actions / recommendations

  • Well organized and strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Works independently and delivers on end-to end processes with minimal guidance

  • Ability to collaborate effectively

Additional Assets:

  • Workday HRIS system experience an advantage

Success Metrics:

  • Delivery of timely, complete, accurate / error free, quality analyses, data, programs and other work product
