 Job Description: 

You will provide support on day to day HR initiatives, as well as longer term projects for the Human Resources business unit. Support will be focused on the support of HR activities for the business unit, as well as responding to a wide variety of employee inquiries.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Provides end-to-end HR support to assigned business client groups

  • Support and advise Managers on employee relations issues, compensation and benefit initiatives

  • Facilitate workshops as necessary  

  • Responding to employees’ general HR inquiries

  • Conduct HR Orientation sessions

  • Providing support with HR projects

  • Processing internal employment transactions via Workday as part of HR Shared Services

  • Perform ad hoc reporting and submission of Government Surveys

  • Application and renewal of Singapore Employment Passes

  • Assist in the preparation of HR Letters

  • Assist in some recruitment processes like reference checking, background screening, staffing files preparation & processing, NHP (new hire package), new hire onboarding process, etc…

  • Monthly reporting, eg. APAC headcount report, etc…

  • Processing of HR related invoices

  • Stay abreast of local employment law and regulations

We are looking for talented individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Degree/diploma educated and looking for your first HR role within a global organization or 3-5 years’ experience in HR Generalist role

  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally

  • Experience in partnering with teams based in several countries simultaneously

  • Results oriented with demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong project management skills; interpersonal skills and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to be able to juggle several priorities whilst continuing to meet deadlines

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Results oriented with demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills

  • Independent, flexible, adaptability and resourceful

  • Willingness to learn, can-do and get-it-done attitude

  • Must possess tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Workday an added advantage
