Our HR Business Partners live our values, understand how our culture comes to life, and possess a deep knowledge of the business and delivery of all HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance. You will learn the EII and HR business and culture inside and out so that you are able to provide HR partnership to the business leaders and the teams you support to enhance their growth and impact.

This role will serve as a Junior HR Business Partner for the ETF and Index Investments function. We’ll trust you to:

  • Partner with the EII HRBP team to project manage and execute talent practices and other key initiatives, including advising clients, creating client ready materials and reports, providing analytics and insights and ensuring accurate data in Workday
  • Provide exemplary client service by anticipating and delivering solutions for the needs of HRBPs and clients throughout HR processes
  • Lead HR initiatives and deliverables with an eye toward identifying opportunities to achieve greater consistency, scale, efficiency and quality
  • Create reports, analyze and present relevant metrics and insights to drive decision making
  • Serve as point of contact to people managers in problem solving talent issues; provide generalist support and advisory services (i.e., transfers, terminations, location changes, performance management, etc.)
  • Be a subject matter expert on BlackRock HR’s tools, processes and team interdependencies across all areas of the HR (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Compensation, Mobility, Legal and Finance)

You need to have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR, consulting or similar roles in a global firm, working in a high-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use HR reporting & analytics in summarizing information, generating insights and tailoring the findings back to different audiences (i.e., HRBPs, client functions) as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with a high attention to detail
  • A fast, curious learner who is adaptable and can think proactively, anticipate potential changes, and drive a team to hit deadlines related to client deliverables
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly
  • Demonstrated experience building strong, effective and trusted relationships and networks
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and partners

We’d love to see:

  • Experience with Workday
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnership skills
  • A highly motivated, energizing attitude that inspires others to seek higher levels of performance.
  • Expertise in building consensus with cross-functional partners
