Responsibilities:

Serve as Workday Integration and Reporting Expert for the HR Technology Team with responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Own and manage all Workday integrations & APIs

  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure file delivery and follow up on data issues

  • Maintain integrations when business or data needs change

  • Build and maintain data catalog to ensure understanding of data delivered

  • Ensure existing integrations are delivering only essential data elements

  • Hold Discovery Sessions with business partners, ET, HR and Vendors for requirements

  • Partner with HR Technology Team to move new integrations and changes through appropriate processes

  • Design and deliver new integrations with vendors and internal customers

  • Review existing integrations architecture and make updates as opportunities exist

  • Gather and document requirements as input into the design of an integration

  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external applications across a wide array of HR functional areas

  • Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding 

  • Coordinate with HR Technology team to test and validate requirements are met; ensure integration defects are resolved during testing phase

  • Act as escalation point for problems with existing Workday integrations

  • Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields

  • Build dashboards and visualizations using matrix and composite reporting

  • Streamline and optimize existing reporting library

  • Ensure reports are shared with the users appropriately within the Workday security framework

  • Ensure successful migration of reports across sandbox, testing and production tenants

  • Work with various levels of users to understand business requirements for report requests

  • Educate end users on reporting capabilities, and continuously seek reporting enhancements to support evolving requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of technical systems management experience

  • 3+ years’ experience with Workday Integrations, Reporting, Data Architecture

  • Hands-on experience with building complex calculated fields and aggregations in Workday

  • Expert level experience creating and maintaining all types of reports such as Advanced, Matrix, Search, BIRT, Dashboard, etc. as well as building data visualizations and Discovery Boards in Workday

  • Strong technical and working knowledge of HRIS systems, applications, theory, and practice.

  • Experience with software testing methodology and data validation

  • Experience with Workday EIBs and other integration methods

  • Self-starter with ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships

  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of business process design/redesign practices

  • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information

  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Familiarity with database and application design technologies, i.e., SQL, XML/XLST, Web Services (SOAP, REST), middleware (BizTalk, Fusion, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired:

  • Degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources or related business area

  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

  • Experience supporting ServiceNow, Visier and Glint

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $120,435-$176,638
