Workday HCM Consultant

Key Role:

Lead the day-to-day operational functions to support the Human Resource (HR) function in Workday and enhancements and special projects in the Human Capital Management (HCM) area, applying project management, analytical capabilities of a business analyst, and process knowledge of a functional lead. Serve as the lead Workday configuration resource for the Security area, ensure successful implementation of new functionality and processes within project timelines, and define solutions and options for how to best support business requirements using Workday HCM functionality. Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes while accountable for configuration, unit testing, and defect management. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) resources by adding and augmenting test scenarios to successfully test solutions and implement and monitor operational processes and provide ongoing operational support. Assist clients on a day-to-day basis by answering questions and resolving issues. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with HCM systems

  • 3+ years of experience as a Workday HCM administrator or analyst

  • 1+ years of experience with project management

  • Knowledge of HR processes and digital touchpoints with other functional areas

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvements

  • Experience with project management

  • Experience with Workday reporting, compensation or other related functionalities

  • Ability to be an analytical thinker with process development expertise

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent consultative, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
