Plan, implement, conduct and direct the activities associated with providing world class leadership and support in the areas of Human Resources activities, Positive Employee Relations and Issue Resolution; Communications; Health & Safety; Workers Compensation; Salaried Administration; Continuous Improvement Processes; Plant Security; Team Development; and Community Relations.


  • Support for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, administer workday transactions (HRIS) and maintain people data integrity.
  • Supports the Talent Acquisition process through administrative maintenance, preparation of job descriptions, management of RPO and external agency relationships
  • Recruiting – Ensure proper approval of staffing requisitions; monitor progress throughout staffing process; pre-screen resumes, and conduct phone interview as needed; coordinate interview process including interview guides for manager, comp analysis, offer preparation; interview candidates for designated positions.
  • Coordinate with HRIS/Payroll/Time keeping systems for smooth on time payroll administration.
  • Coordinate all on-boarding and exit activity with employees, managers, and other HR contacts
  • Leads and/or facilitates all aspects of the new hire onboarding programs, and supports offboarding programs
  • Create, follow, and continuously improve processes and procedures for HR
  • Maintain positive employee relations through the consistent administration of company policies and practices.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Ensure employee training needs are continually evaluated, effectively met, and properly documented.
  • Actively conducts audits and corrective actions with the HRIS Workday system, in addition to the maintenance of both employee electronic and hard copy files
  • Assist employees with questions or refers to appropriate resource in timely manner
  • Assists with the development of new programs and initiatives
  • Supports company programs, committees, and planning of company sponsored events
  • Participates in and/or recommends new approaches, corrective actions, and updates to policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Assists with the administration and implementation of the same.
  • Functions as the RU Coordinator for the Learning Management System for the Dixon site
  • Participates and supports cross functional HR activities
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities
  • Ensure HR policies and practices are effectively communicated and compliant with all applicable federal and state law/regulations to minimize company’s exposure to legal risks.
  • Coordinate plant safety and health activities, ensuring that appropriate policies, procedures, and programs are in place.
  • Ensure that Plant is compliant with internal safety and health policies and programs as well as external requirements.
  • Safety and Health – Responsible for completing required safety training, reporting and correcting any unsafe practices as appropriate, completing work activities in a safe manner, and complying with safety and health requirements for respective position.
  • Contract with outside suppliers, vendors, and agencies to provide employee services, including temp agencies.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all areas related to Human Resources.
  • Ensure all relevant records are effectively maintained.
  • Facilitate open and effective communication at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees and all levels of the management team.
  • Perform other duties as required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Two to five years related experience
