ESSENTIAL AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop safety training curriculum to meet defined needs of multiple target audiences
- Develop and implement training strategies and materials
- Deliver training and training-related presentations to all levels of the organization
- Provide qualitative and quantitative training metrics of training completion and impact
- Help assess and improve safety-related training & development programs including onboarding, co-op integration, equipment and process certification, annual refresher, and other regulatory and client-required safety and environmental topics
- Assist with publication of monthly newsletter including writing articles about training methods, program updates and training metrics for monthly newsletter
- Assist with other safety department communication processes and messages
- Assist with and help grow supervisor development and personal development training programs

Position Requirements In addition, this position requires the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, training design (ADDIE) or organizational development
- 5+ years implementing comprehensive training & development programs
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Experience delivering effective virtual training programs
- Familiar with the challenges of implementing and maintaining a Learning Management System platform
- Workday experience preferred, but not required
- Industrial safety experience is a plus
Work/Environment and Physical Requirements (with or without an accommodation)
- Office environment, using computer, telephone, other office equipment as needed to perform duties, frequent interruptions throughout day likely
- Essential: continuous sitting, wrist turning, grasping, pinching, and finger manipulation (65%-100% of the time worked); frequent turning and twisting (30%-64% of the time worked); and occasional reaching (11%-29% of the time worked)
- Occasionally required to lift or carry up to 20 lbs (11%-29% of time worked); push/pull occasionally required for up to 10 lbs (11%-29% of time worked)
- Hearing and vision (both correctable) are essential
