Primary Purpose
As a Senior HRIS Architect you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing Workday HCM solutions while considering the long-term vision of the product and organizational needs. You must have a proven track record implementing or administering Workday, with expert level knowledge of Workday modules and HCM business processing. Your experience must include translating business and technical requirements into a project and architectural blueprint that achieves desired business objectives, including identifying solutions for HCM processes including Workday product gaps and manual workarounds. The candidate will design, develop, implement, support and optimize an architecture strategy to meet business capabilities and needs while ensuring completeness of architecture by adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders and enterprise. As a Sr Architect, you will be responsible for maintaining the knowledge of emerging technologies and best in class trends and practices.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Drive towards Workday best practices for system architecture, design, and build across the "Hire to Retire" ecosystem and integrated enterprise business systems to maximum the value of the platformÂ

Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope in the Human Capital Management ecosystem.Â

Understand the full HR technology landscape, especially HR related systems and their interactions with other systems (e.g., Finance, Time and Attendance, Learning Management)Â Â

You will build deep partnerships with our COE leadership team and champion new ways of leveraging advanced HR technology for all users with a focus on streamlining process and aiding efficiency in a global environment. Â

Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HR applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives, as needed.Â

Assess current systems and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the people systems.Â

Familiarity with US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley complianceÂ

Proven experience leading design, configuration, testing, and post-production support for multiple functional areas through at least 3 full lifecycle Workday HCM implementations including experience with integration, data conversion, security configuration, process documentation, reporting, and change management.Â

Leverages mastery-level knowledge of Workday HCM to support design, configuration, integration, data conversion, security, testing, reporting, and change management activities.Â

Ensure that solutions are fit for purpose, secure, scalable, future proofed and cost-effective.Â

Design and document architecture at multiple levels (high level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams).Â

Collaborate closely with other architects and peers across the organization to leverage knowledge, other solutions, and best practice.Â

Deep technical and significant business expertise will be essential, as will be accomplished leadership in a matrixed environment of internal and external partnersÂ

Experience with Workforce Time and Attendance system a plusÂ

Coordinate the planning and execution of new product releases and enhancements.Â

Take on the role of project leader for special assignments.Â

Plan, lead, and facilitate architecture workshops for complex areas of the Workday HCM Module(s) such as business processes, organization structure, security, etc.Â

Accurately estimate effort and resources required to complete projects as related to areas of expertiseÂ

Provide input on project staffing based on requirementsÂ

Lead the solution team including solutions leads from the vendorsÂ

Mentor and guide more junior colleagues for solutioning and testingÂ

Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree is required
Experience
- 10- 12 years related experience is required
- Would relevant experience be considered in lieu of applicable degree?
- Yes three years minimum additional years of experience that would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree
Experience with Integrations (including)studio, security, boomerangs, API, and RaaS reporting.Â
Workday Pro Certified with mastery level experience in at least two of the following modules HCM, Payroll, Comp, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Reporting, and Prism is preferred. With experience and knowledge of the others.

The compensation range for this position is $160,000 – $200,000.
