Job Profile Summary
Under general direction, this position provides assistance to coordinate the activities and operations of the Business Process architect team. Provides highly responsible and multi-faceted administrative, technical and hands-on support in a highly dynamic Information Technology environment. Candidates residing in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina, and Tennessee, may be eligible to work remotely.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- An equivalent of experience and education may be considered.
Minimum Experience/Training:
- Eight or more years of relevant experience.
Minimum Certification/Licenses:
- Workday Pro – Studio, Integrations, Workday Fundamentals, Report Writer and Touchpoints
Essential Functions:
- Daily – 25%: Supports, administers, designs and manages configurations, customized applications and integrations to ensure the needs of the organization are met and ensure system availability during posted hours of operation.
- Daily – 20%: Manages projects and resources to deliver customized applications and integrations according to business need.
- Weekly – 10% Collaborates with Business Office and other IT areas to plan completion of project requirements.
- Weekly – 10%: Assists users with functional requirements gathering to ensure developed applications meet business need.
- Daily – 10%: Tests applications developed to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Weekly – 5%: Develops customized applications according to project requirements.
- Weekly – 5%: Trains users on how to utilize developed customized applications.
- Monthly – 5%: Evaluates and recommends development tools for providing customized applications.
- Monthly – 5%: Recommends development standards to ensure customized applications are developed uniformly.
- Other – 5%: Performs related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Net, C#, Web Services (XML, XSLT, MS Visual Studio, EIB), and Database concepts is preferred.
- Knowledge of Workday Integrations, including EIB and Workday Studio, MS SQL suite (SQL coding, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), MS TFS, ETL concepts, SOAP is required
- Quickly understands the business goals of the project through discussion with the organization’s business offices, information and technical architecture
- Ability to understand the technical impact of solution designs.
- Strong analytical skills
- Requires the application of functional expertise in related area and general knowledge across multiple areas of IT and cross-functional activities
- In-depth functional knowledge and expertise in multiple technology environments, programs, languages, etc.
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with a diverse staff.
- Ability to manage own work and work of others to unit’s performance standards for cost, quality, and output.
- General understanding of College ERP applications and how they are used to enable business processes
- Working knowledge of enterprise architecture.
- Understanding of enterprise’s business application platforms and technologies
- Ability to lead and set direction for the work of others to unit performance standards for cost, quality, and output (e.g., demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills, ability to set priorities for self and others, schedule work activities, allocate resources and provide appropriate feedback
- Requires the ability to stimulate, surface and shape business demand for provider services, capabilities and products; Must be able to exchange information and collaborate with colleagues and peers within the College and perform as a strategic partner to ensure that business strategies fully leverage provider capabilities.
- Requires strong persuasive communication and interpersonal skills; planning, organizational and decision-making skills; business process analysis skills; project management skills; business capability roadmapping and technical writing skills.
